I do. Animals posses some kind of magic humans just don't have, and being around people is tiresome.

With cats, I am often quick to form a bond with them, because I have researched cat body language, plus understanding it comes fairly naturally to me anyway.

At one point I considered becoming a cat behaviourist. People always deterred me from studying human psychology, saying that "You can't do that because you're too introverted/blunt/impatient/insensitive/not a good fit for that subject, etc.".

Basically, it was highly suggested to me to do something where I wouldn't have to deal with people much. When I first started College, I met this middle-aged couple with two cats, and they remarked that one of the cats "didn't like anyone".

Later on, the same cat was sat next to me purring. 8O The couple were shocked, and commented "Well, if IT doesn't work out for you, then perhaps you should consider working with animals".

I've gotten along very well with my kitty cats through the years.

I much prefer my cats and birds over most humans. My animals make me feel wanted and loved. Most humans make me feel like crap.

I'm always surrounded by my cats. They follow me around the house constantly.

My cats follow me too. Had one many years ago that followed me non-stop, chased me outside when I went to work, crying and calling me to come back.

I used to have a cat named Doug and he would follow me to my bus stop in front of my house and sometimes he followed me down the street when I went on walks. He would also wait in the drive way with me when I was waiting for my ride to church.

Yes. Less drama.

Yes and I am known to talk much more frequently and be more comfortable and outgoing talking to my neighbours pets than my neighbours.

^ As am I!

Yes. I especially love turtles and dogs. I love being around my immediate family equally much though.

I have always gravitated towards animals more than people. Frankly I have more respect for them, on average. At parties I can always be found in some back room surrounded by all of the various pets in the household.

I have a green cheek conure (parrot) who I got from a pet store. When I got her, she was wild and un-handleable, having never been exposed to humans. Within three weeks I had her sitting on my finger eating from my hand. It's been just under six months now, and we do everything together; she sits perched on the temple arm of my glasses or on top of my head and just hangs out with me while I go about my day at home.

I also like to pet other people's cats and dogs when I'm at their houses. I much rather be with the animals then be with their humans.

My dad used to have a conure before I was born. That conure loved being with my dad and he would sit on my dad's shoulder.
