Imagine being told that you are not high enough status income wise to warrant being spoken to by one our higher up school district employees. This woman comes into our classroom as a specialist. My person I work for told me that the specialist didn't think I was worth talking to. I had questions for her about the kids we work with. Of course my person loved telling me she got favor with the visitor because teacher used to be a real estate agent. None of this should be relevant. There is stuff I need on the job. We should put our personal preferences away.

I'd call this a game of social class, rather than an NT game.

All humans can play nasty games, those filled with prejudice and discrimination
are some of the worst!

NTs are more likely to do it as they are more savvy about the nuances of class not to mention they care more about that stuff.

Truth hurts.....NTs out there who do this. Keep in mind that most don't.

By the way, I wasn't looking to be friends with this woman. Just professional advice that pertains to my job. She is paid to do as such.

I don't like everyone I work with but I keep that to myself.

I would ask her for advice on how to get one's s**t not to stink.

I see a lot more of this being similar to BLM and other militant groups that want to believe the majority of mankind is involved in a conspiracy to make "their" lives miserable. Real identity politics.

People need to leave the high class snobbery out of the workplace. It is not professional at all.

This person is just plain weird.

I would just ignore this crap, and just do your job.

This doesn't have have jack to do with blm.

Right, Krafty I don't worry about it....the person who had to tell me about it is definitely suspect in motives.

Elaine- you're right. The numbers on my tax return don't have jacksh!t to do with how I perform my job.

During my travels I have found that NTs obssess about money more than anything else. To the point where it will prevent normal conversation from occurring where it might actually be civil -- without even mentioning money in the first place. Kind of like a token of status that must first be paid in order to unlock their doors of perceived wisdom.

Curious. Isn't it?

The funny thing is she is small potatoes in the social class thing. Maybe she will get a taste of her own medicine someday from some other snob who is higher up than her on the social class ladder.

I don't care personally what these women think....not like I'm looking for friends. Just expect us all to act as the professionals we were hired as.

I wish people would put aside the social crap and do their jobs.
