Dont some of you other autistic people feel like other people treat you differently like more coldly and are much less inclined to communicate with you despite how much of an effort you put for others.

I felt this way all the time as a kid until I graduated high school. I feel ignored now but I don't take it personally. I don't like being interrupted anyway and people probably pick up on it and not even bother. I notice at work things go well and then complaints start piling in and my supervisor changes my job by giving me different tasks or taking a task away I was getting complaints about. I never figured this one out yet and I keep thinking could it be a coincidence. I know my boss isn't making this up because he shows me the fax he got from the place and customers there (we call them customers (even though they are employees in the building as well) don't even know me nor know who I am so this has always been puzzling.

I felt like others were often more "sweet" to me and didn't tease me in a friendly way like they did with others. But I also felt ignored a lot when others were having a conversation and weren't actively including me.

I have always had to deal with people treating me differently. I am often treated like a child or a complete ret*d even by people who are close to my age. I am usually left out of conversation and plans. People feel obligated to talk to everyone but me.

People say I should reach out more and talk more, but when I do I feel pushed away. People need to make up their minds about what they want from me.

Feel? More like I know I've been treated for being different. It's a reason why I have so much hatred towards others.
