Is this movie (Fly away) way over exaggerated and inaccurately portrays autism, and doesn't even show all of ASD spectrum?

I remember seeing this movie on Netflix years ago. I really liked it. As someone on the spectrum, I can say that Mandy is not an accurate representation of me becuase I am on the high functioning end of the spectrum. One of my favorite quotes is "when you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism". I do not believe that the ASD represented in the movie is exaggerated or inaccurate. Unfortunately, because autism looks so different from person to person, there is no way to portray every single trait or portray ASD in a way that no one feels left out.

I haven't watched it, but I read the overview on Wikipedia and watched the below trailer; it does not portray how I was at any point in my life.

I liked this movie as it stars an autistic teenage girl- which appears to be uncommon.
