i usually come to WP to express difficulty or when im in crisis but right now i would like to say that things are good. i still have a job, i feel more calm, i feel happy. i think being on the spectrum its nice to acknowledge when things are going well and when you are happy.

i feel i am really enjoying having a daily routine again and getting out of the house but the job i have is never over demanding. even though i dont like serving customers the store i work at is never too busy and i always have help.

How is everyone lately?

I'm doing all right, Zombie.

Thanks for coming on and telling us the good news.

I hope the good stuff continues consistently for a long time.

Last time I used WP regularly was years ago. Not counting my recent activity and new account, of course. I think I stopped around 2011 or 2012. I was still in university and honestly looking back those were my last truly good times. I had more difficulty with aspergers back when I started university, which is when I discovered WP and made my first account.

As far as how things are currently going for me - I'm trying, at least. Eating regularly again, sleeping regularly, living in a safe environment, getting my medical issues taken care of bit by bit. I finally have health coverage. I suppose I have many things going for me now.

On the other hand I have become really mentally unstable. Kind of all over the place.

I would go into more detail but I don't want to gloom up your good-vibes thread.

I'm better than ever. Still not great, and with a few temporary problems at the moment, but they'll be over soon and I'm on a good path. Got a good routine going, have three jobs that, while causing stress, is worth the hustle, because it gets me enough money to save a lot each month, and I'm slowly but steadily reaching my goal of buying a house. I am very grateful to be able to work with art, and I have a place to live, and a kind boyfriend who since my diagnosis is much less frustrated with me because we're learning to communicate better.
Yeah, things are going really well.

It's really good to know things are going well for you. :) You're right in that we mostly post when things aren't going so well.

I'm fine, really. Just about to start my last semester of Programming.

Good to hear! I know I'm new here but it's always nice to hear good news even if it isn't about yourself or someone you know.

I'm struggling to find a balance between the happiness of finally going from a 9 to 5 to making art full time, and the guilt of not doing the whole normal career thing and relying on my wife's income more. She's super supportive of my work but I think that makes it worse sometimes. I'd feel like a real dick if it didn't go anywhere after all this sacrifice.

Yesterday, for the first time in ten years, I turned down an available counsellor's appointment. The new counsellor is incompetent and quite distressing. I'm still in a low-sleep limbo. Longer-term, I am making steady progress on a micro-camper, so I can possibly find a better place to live, or at least have a bug-out rig all ready.
