Hello, everyone.

I'm currently reading Living Well on the Spectrum by Valerie L. Gaus, PhD. How to Use Your Strengths to Meet the Challenges of Asperger Syndrome/High Functioning Autism.

It's a workbook. I read a couple of pages a day so I don't get overwhelmed. I get overwhelmed easily. I desperately need to learn how to manage my symptoms because I feel that my sensitivities are only getting worse and I'm at the point where I don't want to leave my apartment at all because I start to panic when I think of going to church or anywhere, really. I also suffer from depression so that makes it very hard for me to get motivated.

I don't even feel like I'm high functioning anymore. I'm think I'm sliding towards mid functioning.

Has anyone else read this book? Did you like it? How has it helped you? So far I've made myself a loose schedule for the month of February.

I have that book, I did it for a while, but I find it hard to stay self-motivated enough to stick to things like that. It didn't really teach me much that I didn't already know.
