Ah wtf do you say to that when someone is looking at older pictures of you.

Kinda awkward so I changed the subject. She seemed surprised that I was attractive. Kinda makes me feel ugly. People should refrain from voicing every thought that comes to mind.

Similar to - you look great for your age.
Or the dreadful - you haven't changed a bit.
All fall into the category of an insulting compliment.
I try to remind myself that there might be a kernel of kindness somewhere in there.

At 1,952 years old, you probably don't look so good now. It's a compliment

In all seriousness, sounds like that certain someone is a prick who doesn't think about what they say.

I've actually known people who really haven't changed much in 30 years.

Except for my gray hair, I haven't changed much since my 30s.

I find that this could be a comment based on truth.

I wouldn't be surprised if HistoryGal is still pretty.

I've been at drawing classes. There was a 40-year-old woman. I thought she was 18 or so.

Hi Krafty, this gal/frenemy has a history of lobbing barbs in my direction.

I dress a lot more reservedly these days and wear my hair very short. More matronly vs. Sexytime. LOL

She is an NT. Remember most NTs don't act like this.

Even NTs often have "Aspie moments."

A few months ago at a pub I noticed a couple of young ladies obviously discussing me. So I stared back.

"Hey, we were just saying that you must have been really, really good-looking when you were young! Which, uh, isn't to say that you're not now. You are, really. I mean, for, um, a gentleman your age...."

Just stop right there. I get the message.

Some NTs are just mean people. It's a way to insult someone. Again, most NTs aren't likely to do that.

I hope that wasn't the case here.

Everyone tells me...'oh you look young, you'll be glad when your 40' well not everyone but at gas-stations and liquor stores. You may have guessed I always have to show ID because at first glance I certainly do look like i could be underage probably.

I know how you feel lol. I look way younger than my age, somehow. Luck and not having kids, probably.

My ID picture is also kinda old and my hair and glasses are way different, weight is different (I became underweight and only recently have gone back into the "normal" range of BMI), etc. People usually take time with my ID lol.
