I see people who look like other people I know all the time yet never think anyone looks like me, is this something unique to me, is it an autistic thing or is it the same for most people?

Only the fat middle-aged balding ones.

It's like the opposite for me. But only occasionally or only a few people I think resemble me.

People used to think I look like Robin Williams---sometimes to the point where they would insist that I am him!

I'm somewhere between Ezra Miller and Finn Wolfhard.

What you do is common. "Gee that person looks like this other person I know (or like such and such celeb that everyone knows)!".

What you don't do ("gee that person over there looks like me!") is rare in my experience. So obviously its not unique to you. Everyone does what you DO do, and its rare to hear folks do the thing that you don't do.

The only person I think looks a bit like me is a Youtuber called NFKRZ.

I think most people compare themselves and others to a celebrity or are compared to a celebrity. Doesn't necessarily mean a really good looking celebrity. Just seems to happen more with someone's face that's on a screen.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've had people INSIST that I am Robin Williams. He's not considered "good-looking" Maybe average-looking at best.
