Can a special interest be yourself?

I don't know if I have autism. I don't have any hobbies or special interests particularly. I seldom watch football but I'm by no means an avid fan. I like to come across that way though for conversations sake. I like talking and thinking about myself a lot. I think about all of my weaknesses and I tend to talk to others at great length about myself. If someone talks I quickly revert the conversation back to myself. Could it be a "special interest"?

I think that most people like to talk about themselves.

Find out what is wrong with me, where the error occurred, is probably my "special interest".
