Hey everyone i had the first half of the autism testing yesterday. This is what was on the test so far it's with a neuropsychologist.
I had to read this paper with a bunch of words on it then i had to read this paper with sentences on it dubble sided and i had to guess what word fit in the blank space. Then i had to look at these faces and remember them then i had to put them on this grid puzzle thing and match them just like in the book i had to do that 3 times i had a very difficult time doing that each time i could not remember wear they Were it was 10 pictures of the peoples faces. Next i had to listen to this recording on the computer that had to do with peoples emotions and tone of voice then i had to match the voice with one of the pictures that i thought matched the the emotions and that was hard. Then i had to remember these kids first and last names and what they like to do, the neuropsychologist read the first and last name and what they like to do and i had to repeat it, then on 2 of the pictures i had to make up a first and last name and what they like to do, we did that 4 times and each time i could not remember the names and i only remembered some of the activities that they like to do that part of the test was very difficult for me and i dont know why. I have a bad cold so the neuropsychologist rescheduled the rest of the autism testing for March 18th.
Did anyone have similar testing.

Just had my evaluation 9 days ago, on the other side of the lake.

Different tools:
- match picture from a grid to question for verbal/auditory/spatial.
- computer program "click only on 'X'" (attention?)
- computer program sort cards according to changing rules
- life story/direct observation
- transparent offering of stim material
- several "story-telling" exercises
- two fill-in-the-bubble sheets (64 question ASD and 300+/- broader emotional one)
