The standard treatment for warts is to paint them with Gentian Violet. It has no medicinal properties, but is an excellent placebo. However, as an aspie, I didn't look at the Doctor's eyes as he assured me that it would work, and it didn't. Of course, I only found out about the placebo status later. Have you had similar troubles?

Never had my warts treated like that. I've had them burnt of with electrolysis once, and liquid nitrogen twice.

Regarding placebos, I am not aware that I've ever been given one.
