I've been interested in things like serial killers and I used to be extremely interested in the holocaust. My reasons were to attempt to understand the underlying motives behind these things. Like, for the holocaust, what would cause an entire nation to start exterminating so many of their inhabitants? While I can type out answers, when I look at the horrific act, it still is hard for me to digest.
Anyway, this is a violent world, and the United States is an incredibly violent nation, so I don't think your interest in violence is really disturbing.
I've studied it too, in fact that's just about all I thought about when I was younger.
Question is what to do with this knowledge?
I've seen trump use mexicans as scapegoats for all the US problems (like the jews in europe) and I recently radically changed my views on politics to pro-Sanders simply because he seems the least like trump.
Anyways views on politics aren't really the point of this post, it's what to do with the knowledge of all these horrible acts of violence.
