Florida anyone?

Is there anyone else here who lives in Florida (ideally, Central Florida), and is in their mid 20s to early 30s?

I have a few friends I see occasionally, but it seems they never ask me to hangout, so I get tired of feeling like the only one in the relationship.

I want to make friends, but maintaining purely online friendships is difficult. If I were to find someone I get along with, I would want to be able to get together from time to time, for drinks or a visit to an aquarium or something. And if there were a few of us around here, that could all hangout, that would also be fun.

I am in central Florida, but I am older and I have a family so I'm pretty busy. But I definitely would be interested in an aspie/autism group that meets up on occasion.

I remember being in my 20s and having a great time hanging out with friends occasionally but then wondering why they didn't want to hang out with me more often. I guess a good part of it is most people at that age are looking for a girlfriend/boyfriend. I didn't know I was an aspie back then so I don't know what part of that played into not having people to hang out with at the time. Now days, I wish I had more alone time.

Thanks for replying. Yeah I figured it was a long shot to find people close in age and location, but it's good to see another Floridian!

I dunno if you're still looking for replies to this thread, but I live in North Florida, and I am close in age. (Younger, though.)
