Hello.

I am a graduate student working on a project related to Autism/Asperger's. I've been searching for some laws related to autism, but it seems like there's none, except for the one IDEA passed years ago (generalizing disabilities). Does anybody have any information about it?
Also a friend of mine has a son who is autistic (she's the one who told me about this site) and she said she does not know anything about her son's rights as an autistic child either. Could someone help us?

Thanks!

Are you asking about some country specifically? Or any country?

If you are in the USA, try searching on http://www.wrightslaw.com/.

Any one with autism spectrum disorder (including aspies) can get a waiver to get special assistance, training, etc from the federal government
