Speech therapy for loud, fast talking?

Has anyone here tried of or even ever heard of someone trying speech therapy for the problem of talking too fast and loud? I talk too fast and loud. I think I need professional help.

I had speech therapy in school for talking really fast, but I talked really quietly, not loudly. I don't remember much of it because I was really young, but according to my mother, I was nearly impossible to understand before the therapy. I still get told often that I talk fast and really softly, but I have improved over the years, according to my mom.
