Anyone know what this means? Someone said this to me and I have no idea what it means or how to interpret it.

I think it was meant to imply you have poor self awareness :?:

I wouldn't be too worried about this. I think there are parts of one's self that others (particularly those who know one well) see better, regardless of whether they have ASD.

I depend on my family to tell me how my autistic behaviors appear to them. I can't really guage it myself.

I didn't even know what autistic behaviours were (other than the most obvious steriotypical classic autism ones like rocking and hand flapping) until I was told that I might have ASD.

Looking back there were signs of my AS that my mom noticed all the time(stimming, OCD-like organization, need for routine) that I never picked up on.

I know I appeared weird and different (and obsessive) to my family, but I couldn't help myself at the time. With maturity, however, I think I have been able to tone it down, but I am still interested in and passionate about everything I do.

I think it means people see you differently than how you see yourself.
