Today I decided to swallow all pride and get in contact with a local support group. Although I have only sent an Email asking for an appointment I am now waiting for a response.

Reason for years I have been living in denial due to personal reasons. But what I have learnt recently and this may come as a warning sometimes when you live in denial especially with something like Aspergers it sometimes catches up with you and hits you very hard.

I am still living at home and don’t work I wish I could have more independence and also wish I could be more sociable so today I decided I am going to try and get help from a local Autistic support group.

Good luck with the support group. I have always found support groups very helpful, but none of them were related to autism.
