I never went to college or university and I didn't finish high school. I also don't have a paid job outside of working for my family at a apartment a a janitor. Is anyone in the same boat as I'm in?

I'm unemployed right now, I've tried to work various jobs but never lasted more than a couple of weeks at each one sadly. I'm in college though and if I'm lucky, I can maybe do a work study there this upcoming school year.

I'm on Social Security Disability. I have other mental & physical disabilities besides my Aspergers that make it extremely difficult for me to get hired for a job I can do well. I never went to college cuz I have learning disabilities & I struggled in skewl aLOT. I only graduated high-skewl cuz my parents forced me to & my teachers curved my grades. My parents insisted I needed at least a high-skewl diploma to have an edge in the job market but I've NEVER been asked about having a high-skewl diploma or seen it listed as a requirement for any job I applied for so I feel like my parents were lying to me or extremely uniformed about the job market. I'm in the same exact position for employment as someone who never graduated high-sekwl & doesn't have a GED & has all the same issues I do. I've only worked about 38 months at 3 jobs total. A lot of the time I was unemployed, I was applying for any job I thought I might could do & even calling to see if they would check on my apps. I was getting told things like how they don't have time to check on all the apps & they don't get through em all before hiring.
I haven't looked for a job since I moved across the country to be with my girlfriend over 5 & a half years ago. I had a lot of adjusting to do & she doesn't want me gone for more than a few hours a day due to depression & anxiety issues. I'm not sure how to go about finding a job where I'd only work a couple hours a day instead of 6 to 9. I really could use the extra money thou so I really should look.

I'm unemployed, but I'm also on disability so that's how I'm able to pay the bills.

I've not worked for 17 years, quit a very 'good' job to avert a complete psychological implosion.

I don't think I'd ever have wanted or been able to resume a 'career'. Have spent most of the time since then in libraries, on the internet or just wandering around, probably in large part due to some sort of 'executive dysfunction'. I've just found it harder and harder to 'get things done' over the years.

I'm currently unemployed due to mental health issues - I've been in and out of hospitals for much of the year because of that stuff, and after my most recent stay I had to quit the part time job I had at the time because I couldn't handle that and the mental crud at the same time. I graduated from college two and a half years ago, with a bachelor's degree in biology, but the only jobs I've ever been able to get are two part-time cleaning jobs - I've applied for a ton of jobs and almost always just hear nothing back. Still coming to terms with the fact that I may never be able to have a job I can support myself on, if any job at all.

I am unemployed in a way society would accept it: student
I really tried to get work over holidays, but as with internships i really am bad at convincing people to take me so i assume i will have difficulty with that. I won't be able to live off disability benefits.

I'm currently a student, so that's at least an acceptable reason as to why I'm unemployed. Tried getting some work for the summer, though - to no avail.
