I'm glad the author is proud. I am and am not: I wish I could find where I fit (and articulate how I would). My skills always surprise me: I am not sure how reliable they are or in what way they apply. It seems like too often the positives are cast as negatives. Sigh.

I have always thought that HFA/Autism wouldn't really be as big of a problem if it was appreciated/facilitated more. Like imagine if you could stim in public, people were more aware etc.?! Hopefully that day comes but in the mean time we should try to see the positives. Sadly, the only thing I can currently do at my age is join the awareness group at the school and educate my peers. Wish I could do more...
