I just booked a holiday for a week, is there any extra help you can get while travelling, in an airport in case I got confused on what to do?

Just ask anyone wearing a uniform of any sort. They might not be the right person, but they surely can direct you to where to get help.

Equally, if you see a booth labeled "Information," that's a good place to ask questions.

Don’t bring any liquids or things like deodorant in your carry-on luggage weighing more than 100 grams.

That's great! Glad you've taken the plunge and gone for it after asking about it in that other thread. Where are you going to?

You can get a lot of information before hand on airport websites which I find always helps. Where are you flying from? I got lost in Heathrow for about an hour once

I went to Japan for 3 weeks on my own. Where are you going by the way? Also it‘s very brave of you travelling on your own! It‘s always a challenge, even for most neurotypicals.

What you could do is plan everything you’re going to see, make rough time shedules and buy or download maps from the locations you are going to visit.

Also what someone already mentioned, go to people wearing uniforms.

Edit: When I‘m on airports, I often don‘t know what step is next. For this reason, I write every step down. Asking where to go when I‘m not 100% sure.

Oh no, bet it was ok in the end though.
Going to Miami for a week, as I've been many times before so I know it well.
I feel at home in Florida so that's why I chose to go.
Flying from Manchester airport.

I'd love to go to Japan, I'm a big Asian food fanatic.
Going to Miami for a week, as I've been to Florida many times but with family.

One of the nice things about airports is that there are lots of places to sit. If you're confused, just sit somewhere and look around for a while, read all the signs, see where people are going, and catch your breath. Then you can get up and head in the right direction.

100ml, not 100g.

Don't bother with a suitcase. Carry on luggage is great.

Know where to be.
