-I get easily startled or irritated at certain loud noises

-I like predictability (although I'm not rigid)

-I had obsessions (not so much any more though)

-I used to have outbursts but I have more control over them since I've been on antidepressants

-I can be socially awkward

-There are certain phrases what push my buttons if they are said to me but aren't meant to be offensive

-I dislike crowds, especially at shopping places

-I overthink things all the time

-I am not very good at making friends, but I have got better at it

-I was a lonely teenager with no friends

-Some things bother me what doesn't bother others, like if somebody's clothing tag is sticking out

-Certain jobs would be hard for me, like retail jobs, because interaction with customers would make me anxious

My symptoms are:

oversensitivity to light, sounds, smells, texture etc.

I take things literally (hard to tell if someone is joking as an example).

I need a daily routine.

Impossible to make friends. (never had friends growing up, still don't, but I do have a boyfriend)

Being around people drains me physically and mentally.

Can't get/hold down a job.

Stimming...

I have the Lupine form of Asperger's.

The only diagnostic criterium: I can't stop myself from howling like a wolf in the subways.....

Seriously, until I was 5 1/2, I had no speech, was mostly oblivious to social overtures, screamed with no provocation at all, tended to destroy much that was in my path. I don't know if I stimmed, though I suspect I did.

I don't have very many in actuality, at least not nowadays anymore.

*Can make conversations, but am prone to making minor errors/saying things that aren't entirely appropriate, more often than most people
*A serious fear of getting close to people, especially if they're young attractive women, to the point of potential panic attacks.
*Somewhat prone to getting startled by gunshots, explosions, airhorns, etc. If I know that one of the aforementioned items will be sounded in the next few minutes, I get rather nervous.
*A few stims when younger, none remain aside from talking to myself a lot
*Somewhat unusual interests when young, (trains, hurricanes)
*Can't make eye contact with family, but eye contact tends to be succesful with those at work. Provided they're not too close; they should be 4 feet or farther away

These aren't strictly ASD symptoms but they might be related:
*Speaking of distance, I don't have any spatial awareness to speak of aside from the above. I'm always clipping things when walking. Navigating crowds of people is very complicated.
*Rather poor muscle coordination. I literally couldn't hit a ball at all until I was 12 or so
*Confusing the order of letters and especially numbers when copying (yeah, math is alot of fun).
*And my greatest weakness of all, learning new knots. I've been trying to tie a bowline correctly for 10 years now. Still need multiple attempts to actually tie it.

Despite all that she wrote, I feel Stampy will, ultimately, become a great success.

Why thank you :D ! Even though it can be hard, the symptoms won’t define or limit me in what I want to do, I hope.

I have several symptoms that I've been able to recognize.

I. Taking certain things too seriously.
II. Getting overwhelmed by stressful situations resulting in me shutting down or snapping at others.
III. Major obssesions.
IV. Easily distracted when interrupted which makes it harder to maintain a train of thought.
V. Getting easily annoyed by sayings or words I find to be stupid, archaic, or both.
VI. Hate abrupt changes to the status quo.
VII. Will sometimes engage in repetitive actions or patterns.

Just to name a few.
