Cope with noice from neighbours?
This drives me crazy but I can't move right now. I live where the walls is like made of paper. I hear neighbours coughing, closing doors, babies crying and more that's make my hearing go overboard. I have earplugs and earphones but feel trapped, I prefer to just leave the apartment all together. I'm naturally creative but can't think or get in harmony when I hear sounds. I have lived here about 5 years now and except the noice it's a good, cheap, safe place to live and if I change home I will miss other stuff that I like here.
How to cope with this noice? How do you manage if you have a similar situation.

Can you tolerate white noise? I am most bothered by irregular and/or chaotic noise. I am much less bothered by noise that is steady. As such, I have long slept with a fan running to reduce the likelihood of waking up to every little sound. Similarly, I will sometimes use fans during the day to drown out the sounds coming from a neighbor. This strategy generally works well unless: (1) the noise from the neighbors is incredibly loud or (2) the noise is coming from the floor immediately above. For whatever reason, stomping noises coming from the floor above are simply intolerable, no matter how much I try to distract with white noise. When I had a problem with a noisy upstairs neighbor in a prior apartment, I was eventually forced to move. Since then, I have had to choose places to live where I don’t have a neighbor living immediately above me.
