I blamed myself for when a friend almost lost her purse and even though it wasn't my fault I blamed myself anyway to feel better because I didn't know how to help her. It seems illogical but I even blame myself for my condition and I always hate myself for it.

I blame myself for causing the Great Depression (my parents generation were all victims of it) even though it started 26 years before I was born!

And for the death of the Lindbergh Baby too!

I blame myself for my mum having cancer because they say stress causes cancer and because of my Asperger's I have caused my mum a lot of stress over the years so that explains why she has cancer now.

So that's even more reason to hate my f****d up Asperger's brain.

I think I may be somehow to blame for WW2, the sinking of the Titanic and the extinction of the dinosaurs. But experience has taught me that saying this to anyone will likely get a sarcastic "Well aren't *you* special?". :roll:

I blame myself in part for my mom getting sick, too. I wish that I had been a more normal daughter so I could have helped her more.

I think people very successful people such as CEO's embrace stress. I do not have very much if any of that particular skill. The best I can do is put the stressor into context which can help sometimes.

Back on topic when something bad happens in my mind I am often guilty until proven innocent. Wrong thing to do.

I did blamed myself for making my parents fight, even if I did knew why they fight
most at the time is because of money.

Kinda how I concluded that my dad doesn't know me and likely denies that I'm autistic because we haven't seen each other for more than a decade now.
So I have no idea whether he accepts me if I ever met him personally, but I do know he got mad at mom when she mentioned my diagnosis that day.

I'm always blaming myself on pretty much everything. I blamed myself when my parents got ill, when bad things happen to our family and... the most soul destroying thing I blame myself for was when my best friend was killed. She shouldn't have been on that crossing when that car hit her, had I been with her like I originally said then she wouldn't have been killed, but I didn't go out that day.

The guilt tears me apart every day.

My girlfriend has a lot of health issues as well as mental stuff like depression & anxiety. She gets upset alot & I blame myself for not supporting her better & being too dependent. It doesn't help that she'll take stuff out on anyone in her life & I happen to me in her life the most.

Hmm, nope I don't blame myself, or anybody for bad things that happened. My brain think "oh that sucks, what rotten luck!" That's about it. OK I do blame some people sometime, that's because I know they're evil and did things to hurt others.

I blamed myself for the death of Pete Quaife of The Kinks 8 years ago because of a rebellious stage I went through from 2007 until mid 2009. I blamed myself for the Holocaust for years because I had no understanding of myself. I got really depressed around Remembrance Day not knowing why until I gave England a rest. I overdid England hoping to hide something from my parents, friends, society and WP.
