We got a bunch in our area. And it just led me to another dorky obsession.

Barricade Flashers. The things on barricades that flicker at night. I don't know why but I am completely obsessed with them all the sudden. I even made a website following the construction project just so I could keep pictures of the barricade flashers. I must be the only one that actually likes the fact that all the roads are closed in the area.

When I was a kid they still used Smudgepots up in Maine. Last Time I saw them actively being used was in 1982. I know a kid that Actually swiped a Constuction Light... It was actually kind of lame

I probably should buy one. They cost about 15 bucks. There's about 7 of them right outside my door but I am one who can't steal anything without getting so extremely guilty and scared and wind up giving it back. So I'm gonna avoid snagging at all costs.

Cool, though when you see them laying tram tracks, that is absolutely the best! There are a few pictures of when they extended the 109 tram to my area though I didn't take them (rode my bike up to have a look once or twice but didn't have a camera handy).

Gotta love road construction :)

Gotta love it even more when someone makes a webpage dedicated to road construction.

BTW 10691047 - I see your site is on the wisconsinbroadcasting. I take it then you've chatted quite a bit with josh werner, the station manager at WRST.
