You're a good bunch and I wish you all well,but I think my time here is limited. I am certain I will fail the early age criteria for ASD although some of my symptoms seem to fit. It's all right to stay here when in a "I might be" state ,but if it comes out as "No,you're not" it would be wrong to stay here.

You should stay. I'm sure you would be missed by the members here. I've been here for a short time, but I think WP is for everyone who is Autistic but also has similar symptoms of AS. I saw a Bipolar Disorder and other mental health conditions thread, so it isn't just for Autistic's here.

I doubt I'd be missed much. My socialisation skills are in the toilet.

My social skills are nothing to be admired either. Lol. But we make the best with what we've got. Kick ASDs butt and pick yourself up. Every member here matters and has something to offer to the forum. For instance, before I read your post I was worrying myself sick over a meeting at work tomorrow. You have no postponed that worry, thank you!

I hope you stay either way, Firemonkey. I enjoy your posts and I think you contribute positively to WP.

As you can guess I'm in full catastrophising mode. I'm always that way with future/new events . Its a " Oh F I'm standing on the deck of the Titanic" scenario.

Like I always say: Alex doesn't ask for an official diagnosis.

The very fact---that you feel WrongPlanet has such narrow criteria for membership----means you're "autistic" in my book LOL

Do NOT leave! We don't care if you might or might not meet the criteria for ASD. You've posted over 1,500 posts, you're part of the site, one of those that stick around, and your posts are always inspiring and thoughtful.
There is no rule that all members have to be on the ASD spectrum or else. The rule is no trolling. And are you a troll? Definitely not! You're a decent and regular member here, whether you have an ASD or not.

So we'll have no more of this silly talk. You are staying on WP, ASD or no ASD. We all like you.

You should definitely stay, regardless of how the diagnosis comes out. You have contributed many good posts, raising interesting topics. One small example; two or three years ago you posted about aphantasia, and it was the first I had heard of the condition. I was fascinated to find I had aphantasia too, and I wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't posted.
