Obsessed with online cognitive and psychological tests . To the point I'll even fork out on paypal for the results. I'll even use snipping tool to save an image of the results and have them in a folder called "Tests' on my USB drive.

As long as you have the money to do so and you're not spending beyond your means, in my opinion there's nothing wrong in doing that. I'm sure you are already of the mindset that such tests, even if legitimate, wouldn't constitute a professional diagnosis.

There are plenty of unhealthy addictions, obsessions or special interests out there. I don't think what you describe is unhealthy.

My GP , CBT therapist and almost every one else said it wasn't healthy for me to do research on my possible conditions. Spoke to my autism counselor and she disagreed and said go for it.

Try not to obsess about the assessment, firemonkey. February is still a long way off. It would be a shame if you were worrying about it every day. Maybe try to look at it from a different perspective:

- It's not going to be a physically invasive procedure. You therefore will have no risks of infection or mortality.

- No one knows you, more than you! You should therefore be able to relax knowing that you can think about and answer any questions honestly. It's going to be an opportunity for you to "be yourself" with a stranger who is genuinely interested in you "being yourself" (in my experience, that doesn't happen very often).

I wish you the all the best in this.

I'm not in any debt through it. I'm not the world's best money manager , but when it comes to ADLs it's the one I'm best at.
