Anyone know much about Autistic Burnout or experincing it?

Hey I've been wondering about autistic burnout. I know it's not officially recognized, but I'd still like to learn more about it. I'm worried it might be affecting me as well.

This is a good article! Thanks for posting it!

I had much more burnout years ago when I wasn't doing anything of a social nature and my functioning in the real world was very poor. I think the only time I get anything close to burnout is when I let things pile up. I need to start today on catching up on some of my chores.

I suffered massive burn out at work, before I was diagnosed. I doubled down on effort, it seemed like efforts of others to counsel and help me never got to the heart of the matter.

It's only since diagnosis, building more self-understanding, that I start to understand why.

My path back involved self understanding, and a heavy emphasis on self care. :mrgreen:
