Introvert? Extrovert? Ambivert?

Are you an introvert, extrovert or ambivert?
I am an introvert 70%  70%  [ 33 ]
I am an extrovert 4%  4%  [ 2 ]

I am unsure of which category I fall into 2%  2%  [ 1 ]

I'm an introvert. My mate's a hyperverbal three double-shot espresso extrovert.

I go back and forth between certain periods of both extrovert and introvert. After the extrovert period with many people, I get a bit tired of it, then I withdraw, stop seeing anybody, and become happy to be alone. Then after a period of introvert, I will swing back to extrovert. The long term result is, I know many people, but I don’t have any real friends. Though I feel fine with that. It might be nice to have a true friend sometime, if that is even possible.

I was making fun of a certain genre of TV commercial of the recent few years. Here in the US they suddenly allowed advertising of prescription medicine a few years ago, so we now get bombarded by ads that tell US what to tell our docs to prescribe. And the ads all have these descreet deadpan disclaimers that list the possible dangers of the drug....always a ridiculously long list.

And the drugs have names like "ambivert". In fact there is an actual prescription drug called "Ambien" that's advertised like that.

I've been an introvert all my life & never had a close realtionship with anyone including my parents except I LOVE being close with & spending LOTS of time with romantic partners.
