Any people on the spectrum hate people not on the spectrum that make fun of autism? What I mean by that is they use autism as a insult. They say someone has autism when they don't? I absolutly hate it. Some people even make memes making fun of Autism.

Yeah, I'm autistic and it still gets under my skin when I hear people making general, stereotyped insults about autism. Like using the term "autistic screeching" or suggesting that autistic folks are violent or implying that we're faking it and just looking to be pampered, social put-downs, etc. And it doesn't do any good to try to insult people back because (1) it doesn't make me feel good about myself and (2) I could never win an insult contest with an non-autistic person (I've tried a couple of times :nerdy: , lol). People who make such insulting memes don't understand autism, they're looking to make fun of an easy target, and I do my best to forgive them.

I generally don't have a problem with it, and sometimes find it fairly funny. Not when people are boring and just use "autist" as a stand in for any given intelligence-based insult, but rather in more specific circumstances. For instance, when a couple of friends argue about the very specific wording in the Dungeons and Dragons rulebook and really get down to the nitty-gritty of it, I myself may well be the one to point out that "now this here is some advanced autism"...
