I was planning on singing tomorrow to addition for this musical at my local library. Please tell me what you think. I’ve been practicing for i’ve been practicing for I Believe three days now.
Also have you heard of the fame play or musical or movie ?
I just recently watch the movie but I think the play is way different I’m not entirely sure cause I just started watching it on YouTube (The play version ) and it seems much different.
If you have any suggestions or ideas or advice please let me know .

If you're going to audition you should choose a song you know by heart. You need to work on maintaining control of your voice by practicing diaphragmatic breathing. Your breathing is shallow and it's making the volume of your voice inconsistent - it's loud and strong and then it gets weak and thin. Also I would work on your diction because parts of the song were not clear. You can practice your vowel sounds and make sure consonants are not missed at the end of words by running through the correct movement and placement of your mouth, lips and tongue for each sound. There's lots of videos on YouTube that will help with breathing and diction if you're unsure. Good luck with your audition.
