I would really like to get an assignment on ASD. there is two things stopping me. one is i am a tad afraid to ask my primary dr about it. and two is the cost of the assignment. does medicare cover such an evaluation.

It would be a great relief just to know one way or the other.
I did all the online tests what strongly points to
Me being on the spectrum.
Maybe I should print those out to show the Dr if I get brave enough to ask about it.

I am not sure how I would bring it up.
Would it be better to as my primary Dr or my neurologist.
I see my neurologist for unvoulntary movements.

Good on you for investigating this!

Naturally, the screener test is not the same as a diagnosis, but it is an initial level of understanding - congratulations for achieving that.

I can't advise you on America- specific matters like cost, Medicare, and whether there is any reason not to see your main doctor.

Personally, I think this is a great thing to be aware of, and I like to be open with it, whenever that can help someone treat me better and more effectively.

Consider finding and using a psychologist with expertise in Autism in mature adults, because some of the generalists lack a lot of knowledge that they would need to give you a good outcome.

Good luck.
