My inability to communicate effectively, both in person and online, is hurting me financially, by making it more difficult to find alternative employment, and by making it difficult to advertise for starting a business. Is there someone I can go to in order to improve my communication skills? I don't expect it to be a free, but I have some capital to spare for such a worthy investment.

When I was in high school I took a class in typing. I use that skill all the time. Today you might consider taking a coarse in keyboarding.

I was a very slow reader in high school. They put me in a special class that today would be called a class in speed reading. It taught me to find one or two words in a paragraph that contained the essence of the paragraph. These couple words became an anchor for the paragraph. So when I read a paragraph I would read from the inside out. It dramatically increased my reading skill and comprehension.
