Has anyone else run into people that hate or talk about people that are autistic as less than human.

Not yet, but I swear that if I find someone like that, I'll have a hard time avoiding immediate attacks on that person.

Yes. I was talking to a person at an event somewhere who attacked autistic people with obvious disgust. They said that autistic people were increasing due to chemicals and that we are a problem, and talked about them in the way an arachnophobe talks about spiders. I can't remember much more.

I followed by telling them I had been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome several years before our encounter. They gave me a death stare but said nothing more.
