This is what my stepdaughter said or wrote about me for my autism assessment .She said I often walk across the road without looking. I'm struggling to see that as applicable to me.

Do you not look when you cross the road?

I'm fine with street-crossing when I'm by myself. But, when I'm walking with another person, I can't focus on our conversation and safety/navigation at the same time (unless our route happens to be the topic of the conversation itself). So, when walking with another person, I need to either (1) trust the other person to be the designated navigator and crossing guard or (2) make sure we stop the conversation whenever we get to a street crossing.
