If curses exist then clearly this is mine, it's like it was there since birth and stuck on like a parasite dug deep, from parents doing it, to neighbours, to now car doors, I'm just so fed up...

Do you mean suicide in preference to bashing doors, or do you mean suicide because of bashed doors?

You are not clear on that.

Did someone vandalize your car or something?

Please supply more clarity in this matter, as members have asked above, so they can be in a better position to offer you assistance/support.

Are you referring to slammed doors or ones that have been literally bashed/damaged?

Have you ever considered taking up drumming? Our perception of noise is very different when we make it, and that might get you desensitized, or into the habit of incorporating those odd beats into your pattern.

I know what you mean. The concussive sound of a door slamming is like a knife through the head.

Dear_one has a good idea. The only way really to deal with upsetting sound is to habituate it. That's how I was able to deal with my loud tinitus.
