What is it called where for a brief second, ones mind may go blank where ones arm may lose its ability to communicate with ones mind? (Anyone ever had this? I have only ever had this through lack of sleep or high stress. Rare for me to get this).

I noticed when it happened a couple of days ago, I think part of my mind that controls the left arm went blank for split second and came back in, which meant that what I was doing at the time had to have a very quick thinking restore to enable me to carry out the task. It is just wierd!
My sleeping pattern has been a bit out witn the stresses and goings on of late so it maybe this that has taken effect. Last night I had a strange dream and the wierd thing was that thouhh I didn't know it, it is relevent to her.

Not sure, but if your brain is having a hard time organizing motor skill commands, it sounds related to dyspraxia.

Might be. No idea. I rarely get it though. I am not sure what causes it.

I believe that Alexithymia is the term you're looking for.

Edit: I misread your question. The term is actually transient paralysis.
