My friend works with the population(people with mild autism) who wind up in the court system due to violent crimes(not all of these crimes are severe, it can be as simple as a pushing match on the street or threats), so she has met thousands of people with mild autism and she insisted that rigid thinking and explosive anger, and yes, even violence, is not rare in that population.

My own feeling is that in her line of work she is going to see a lot more of a violent sub group, but after reading things written by autistic people on Quora, I often wonder how widespread the problems she talks about really are in that population.

Not a huge fan of outsiders that have little personal experience with autism claiming to know everything.

I know the person. She used to post on a schizophrenia forum I post on . She's claimed to be a long-standing advocate/volunteer for those with severe mental illness.
