I'm a little confused on why you're posting here.

You come to this website, yet it seems you disagree with the idea that you're on the Autism Spectrum...

And yet there are professionals who think you are.

Is there a problem with this? Why do you have difficulty accepting the idea that you're Autistic? Does the name bother you? Do you disagree that you have the symptoms/traits that point in that direction?

If you can agree with them that you are they way they see you as being, then what's the problem with accepting the name for that?

At least some of us don't know you or your history, including previous posts.

Would you like to give us a brief rundown and also answer the questions I've posed? (And if not, why not?)

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

Your profile says "has aspergers", and you're here on an autism website. But you are now denying that you have aspergers????

I am confused. Please explain.

If I recall correctly, she's been saying in other posts that everyone EXCEPT her dr thinks she has ASD. She is not diagnosed ASD.

By reading a number of her threads it is clear her doctors are stupid and don't understand the value of a diagnosis beyond treatment. They beat around the bush instead of explicitly assessing her for autism or explicitly writing the diagnosis in her chart. They think that someone who is not a party to the conversation in which her doctor reaches the conclusion that she has autism will somehow instinctively know what conclusion that that doctor has reached without any formal record of an autism diagnosis in her charts or even that that very same doctor will even remember what conclusion they have reached at some point in the future.

Maybe it is healthcare issue. In that you can't get an adult diagnosis unless someone pays for it in the US, unlike the UK where the NHS will cover it if you are persistent and patient enough. We know she doesn't have employer covered health insurance or the savings to pay for it.
