As in, sometimes I feel like I can have a good conversation and I'm fine. Other times, I feel high strung and nervous and kind of spazz out, then kick myself later.

Anyone else have this experience?

I think everyone has this experience, autistic or not. Stress causes it, or poor manners, or some other reason for being uncomfortable. The reasons are as diverse as the people who experience it.

When I've had plenty of sleep, my only social deficit is a lack of interest in popular culture, etc. When I've gone into a period of low sleep and over-tired anxiety, I'm not even fit for a one-question meeting.
