Different Tangents.

Do you find yourself answering threads at different tangents to everyone else even though you think you are talking about the same thing... And then you forget the origional point that you were tryinb to make so you just go ahead and post what you wrote anyway, or just decide to refresh the page and don't send a reply?

Is this me or do any of you do the same?

Yeah, often. I often don't realise until after, and then feel like an idiot. I often wonder why I keep coming back to this site, because it often feels like everyone else seems to understand the flow of conversation except me. But it's good to know I'm not the only one.

I've often found that if my opinions are not 100% in perfect alignment with the opinions of others, that those other will assume that I need to be "schooled" and "woke" on their idea of the "proper" way of thinking.

I could be their greatest ally. Instead, they alienate and abdicate any possibility of such an alignment with their arrogant, condescending, and smarmy didacticism.

Well. Tell you something... Here in Wales it is a type of custom to talk round the world and back before coming to the point one wants to make. So if this is an autistic trait, then when I do this no one notices as most people here do the same! Haha.

My brother watched a commedien speak about Wales and he is spot on. It was hillarious. (Us who are proper born and bread in Wales love to chuckle to ourselves when our funny ways are pointed out to us. Sayings like....
"You see those two houses there on that hill? Mines the one in the middle".
Or when asking directions "If you turn left by the post office and carry on down that road for half a mile you will come to a dead end. You don't want to go down there. It s the wrong way entirely to get to where you want to go.... " and "You know the village on the hill where Dai has his farm with 200 sheep and 45 cows and a red tractor? It's not there".

Haha. We are a funny lot in Wales! So if I am autistic, it can be hard to tell me out from NT's. HAHAHAHA! Unless you were born in Wales too.

We are of Celtic stock, of course we can laugh at ourselves, we are not english lol
