This last week has been worse with all the doctors appointments, testing for me and my son, the waiting game for my report this coming Monday, my son’s anxiety, the regular house stuff, my job, driving......... I live in a constant pattern of chronic fatigue. But today is especially worse.

It’s a mix of me wanting to run home screaming (which I really never do), and roll in a ball on my bed and stay there all day.

Do you ever feel this way? How is fatigue for you? Any tips?

Tips?

If I ever do get the opportunity to curl up into a ball under the blankets, I take it. While it may only last five minutes, those five minutes are still helpful.

Other than that, maybe find someone to whom you can safely say, "Sod off". The emotional release will do you wonders.

Yes

Frequency intensity duration

Even when I am not tired, I still don't think clearly

And could not imagine full time job

No going out after work

8 hours sleep

Rest is so important, isn’t it? I used to do better with little sleep when I was a teen. But as I got older, my goodness. I definitely need my sleep.

Yesterday was hard. So today I asked my husband to take the kids to school for me, as my shift starts later this morning. I can take my time to rest, get ready, clean up the kitchen a bit with nobody around. At my own pace. I need some mental flossing today. Know what I mean?
