Does anyone get an ASD level 0 diagnosis under DSM-5?

It seems to me this diagnosis is very unlikely. Children wouldn't get it since it would be saying they need no special-ed services and so why are they even being evaluated. Adults might get it, but most who would qualify probably never get evaluated.

The DSM doe not have a level zero diagnosis. Criterion D requires that the profile causes the person some level of difficulty in significnt areas of life.

For this reason, in preparing for an assessment, it may be ery ueful to identify all the informal forms of support which one may have, for example the structured time of a school environment, working in a field where we are a sufficiently large proportion of the workforce that our quirks don;t make us stand out, and so forth.
