Suggestions for improving visual processing?

I'm an autistic adult trying to find ways to improve visual processing. Specifically, I have trouble processing what I'm seeing in cluttered spaces where there's a lot of visual information and I quickly become overwhelmed. This often becomes a problem when I'm looking for something or when I try to tidy up. All the resources I've found have been aimed at children or are for different visual issues. Anyone have any suggestions?
