I'm wondering if I am really ASD what level I would be at...

As a child I was severely disabled with meltdowns.

When I was in my early 20's I was independent and functioning well.

When my bipolar hit, I needed support and now I do need moderate or maybe a lot of support because I am melting down again plus my bipolar medication I need.

So are these functioning labels based on your overall functioning, or like say on the individual condition i.e. maybe you have severe bipolar needing huge amounts of support but your other condition affects your life less so you get a lower level in that "category."

Your ASD level(the amount of support you require) can vary over time. If you can't hold a job, you are melting down a lot and frequently ending up in the hospital you are probably level 2. I don't know what happens when it comes to figuring out how much other illnesses affect your ASD level score.

I have chronic illnesses in addition to autism that affect the amount of support I need on a day to day basis but even if they all packed up their bags and left tomorrow, it would still take the absolute best case scenario for me to live independently and hold a job(never held a job longer than 3 months) so my autism assessment put me at a level 2 (I don't know what exactly went into their decision, that's just my guess).
