I had a perfectly functional bed before being forced to move... then somehow the movers couldn't handle a bit of dirt. Gee, why they you become polishers too? Maybe they need a change of career... I had a perfectly fine bed, for years, and now I'm stuck with the worst I've ever had which developed a hole on one end and has seemingly sprouted nails like damn flowers. Oh wow, nails are totally worth not getting a bit dirty!

f**k I hate people. Is this just because I rent? So renters can't ever buy beds and keep them? I swear, it's one of the few times in my life I regret not acting more aggressively for... if it ever happens again in the future I'll goddamn get those nails and smash them into whoever wants to steal the bed!

I have never had that happen. Oh dear! Do you know where your old bed went?

Some things are worth expressing anger about. Otherwise people have no idea they have done something wrong I hope you find a better bed than the bed of nails you are stuck with at the moment

It must have been thrown away, while I ended up with the worst replacement possible... I so hate society...

I'm answering because I sense a tragic pattern. People like movers, librarians, and waiters have a certain amount of discretion in their jobs and will bend the rules to favour people they like and take revenge on those who irritate them. You may be in a feedback loop where each injustice makes you more grumpy, and this causes the next one. To turn it around, you may have to force a smile the first time, and always do what you can to make someone's job easier. I don't know what you consider "a bit of dirt" but I know that there are days when I'm comfortable in my bathroom even though I wouldn't feel OK in a friend's one in the same state.
