Hi there.
I am wondering, does anyone else here have weeks or fortnights when they feel really manic and hard to slow down and concentrate? My sex drive also goes into overdrive and I spend all my time joking with my wife and trying to flirt. It tires her out. Also I then have weekends, especially where if something goes wrong or might go wrong where I can't cope and I feel myself slipping emotionally, really can't cope. Can't sleep, I spend a lot of time dwelling on the past and panicking every five minutes, or waking in the night. This can last up to a week as well.

I have Aspergers, but they diagnosed me years ago and I ran away. So no current support apart from wife.

I go through cycles of both. I was diagnosed with bipolar when I was younger though.

I go through something similar I think. My weeks always rotate and it has been like this for as long as I remember. One week I am productive and focused and the follow one I am hyper and distracted. It's annoying, mostly to people around me who don't know what to expect from me. I've made peace with it though and learned to really take advantage of the good days and see the off weeks as an opportunity to approach my work creatively.

I also go through the same thing, I can't say that I have bipolarity, although it's clear

For me, the cycles are usually just a day or so. On the down days, I often find that I'm mostly just dehydrated, from forgetting when busy. I think I had about a year of manic once, but can't do it again. AS and bi-polar are a fairly common combination.

My god that's me too. Cycling up and down. Sometimes I get massive depression and real event OCD too. It just eats away my day.

I can't say I can relate exactly to your experience, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one :)
