i have trouble with those things. what about you? if you are like that, can you give me some recent examples from your daily life?

how often do you think that happens to you? and how often did it happen when you where a child compared to now?

also sometimes when i say something people look at me and stay silent. does that happen to you too? how do you react to that?

quite an extreme

That is a problem with indirectness that many people here share. NTs assume you are sharing their way of thinking. If your brain works a different way then you have trouble to get them right. :?

So really, it's not exactly an autism trait to lack theory of mind, it's a normal human trait to lack theory of mind of others who don't think the same as you.

Yes.

We're just the minority so it looks like an 'us' problem.

By 'think the same', I agree with you if you mean 'think in the same way' not 'think the same things'. NTs argue over politics all the time. We do ourselves on PPR. But we have similar ways of thinking to other autistic people and NTs have similar ways of thinking to each other.

It confused me when there was a suggestion lately 'Don't play board games with family over Christmas'. I didn't realise until mum told me specifically that they weren't outlawing board games in the same household and that it doesn't apply to people like me who aren't widening our bubble.

I always assume writing is directly meant for me especially if it's written in second person.

I keep getting surprised that NT people expect me to know how they feel and what they were thinking. I keep telling them to declare their thoughts clearly and they just wouldn't do it. If we lack theory of mind, they're lacking the ability to express themselves.

I generally consider a person to have no particular thoughts or opinions if they don't say anything. If it's important enough they're say it, right?

Kind of, It really depends on the thing. Mostly things relating to how people are feeling.
