I asked for more details and they said this position was mostly lesson and teaching materials development... I'm actually really good at that!

More great news! I got kinda discouraged of Masters programs after that one bird research one turned me down, but I knew the other one to get a Master's in Environmental Education/Science Communication might still be interested, and since AmeriCorps awards a Scholarship that would be great, so I contacted them to see if it was too late to apply for the 2021 Fall Semester... No it is not and they are still interested in me and congratulated me for getting the AmeriCorps internship! So I'm gonna apply!! !
