predicting ones own thoughts

I was told only people with autism are able to predict there own thought and I if there are abnormlities in there own thought processes depending on mental state. Though I heard some body else day it could also be high intelligence.

Do you mean feeling close to a solution to a problem? I have sometimes spent years knowing that there was a simple way to re-design something, but I had no idea when I'd find it, or what it was. If I'd known, it would no longer be in the future.
