Recently I feel like a burden. I feel like I'm lazy and that I dont contribute. I have Autism and Schizophrenia.

I sleep until noon most days. I try to set an alarm but I can never wake up. Some mornings I feel super uneasy and I just want to lie in bed. Most nights I feel uneasy too. I feel uneasy a lot. Sometimes I cant sit still because I feel so uneasy. I drink sometimes to make myself be still.

I feel like I'm a disappointment. All I do everyday is sleep, listen to music and go for walks with my dog . I have no friends. I have low motivation. I feel like I have no skills. I do not like to talk either. I feel like people do not like me.

I understand as I experience life in similar ways. What has helped me is to embrace who you are. I started looking in the mirror and telling myself I love you unconditionally. Be your own best friend. I am working on talking to myself either in my head or through journaling or talking out loud like a loving parent talks to a loved child. When I am getting stuck, when I feel disappointed, when I feel like nobody likes me, I say to myself you can do it buddy, you are doing great!

I have found that I am able to connect with others a little better after making this a habit. Hope that helps. Hang in there, sure is an interesting way to experience life being on the spectrum.

Are you getting cardio exercise: are you getting your heart rate up for at least 20-minutes a day? When you walk your dog, is it in sunlight without sunglasses on? Those two thing in themselves will help :) Also, you might be getting too much sleep, that will really f*** you up BIG TIME!

"Plan your work and work your plan."

Make a little list of ways to be less of a burden, and pick one to start on. Give it some set time every day, and increase that time when you can.

I get that feeling as well. I know who I am and wholeheartedly accept it, so I know it is the subconscious message from many in society rather than an internal thing. I strike against it as much as I can, though it can be hard.

Making a list of 5 skills that you wish to learn might help. Once you've mastered a skill, work on the following skill until you've mastered all of them.
